BENGKULU- DPRD Provinsi Bengkulu melantik PAW (Pengganti Antar Waktu) Anggota DPRD Provinsi Ir. Darman dari fraksi Nasdem dengan sisa masa jabatan 2014-2019 dalam Rapat Paripurna ke-9 masa sidang ke-1.
Dilantiknya Ir. Darman menjadi anggota DPRD Provinsi Bengkulu untuk mengantikan Riswan Veri, SE yang meninggal dunia pada 19 Agustus tahun lalu.
Ketua DPRD Provinsi Bengkulu Ihsan Fajri, S.Sos yang melakukan penyematan pin kepada Ir. Darman menyampaikan agar sisa masa jabatan yang diamanahkan bisa diemban dengan baik.
“Harapannya semoga bisa bekerja dengan baik, mewakili rakyat, mementingkan utusan rakyat terlebih dulu sebelum mementingkan kepentingan pribadi,” pesan Ihsan Fajri.
Sebelumnya, Ir. Darman merupakan anggota DPRD Kabupaten Lebong.
“Bapak sebelumnya anggota DPRD Kabupaten Lebong, setelah itu wiraswasta sebelum akhirnya di panggil lagi untuk menggantikan Alm. Riswan Veri,” terang istrinya kepada Sentral News seusai rapat paripurna, Senin (25/3/ 2019).
Lebih lanjut, setelah pelantikannya, Ir. Darman berharap bisa menyelesaikan kendala di daerah pilihnya.
“Apa yang bisa kita kerjakan kita usahakan, terutama wilayah dapil kita, Lebong dan Rejang Lebong yang masih banyak mengalami kendala, insyallah kita selesiakan,” pungkasnya. (Lcy)
