Interstate crash with injuries backs up Tuesday evening commute

A crash on a Greenville County interstate Tuesday evening had traffic backed up for miles.The crash happened just after 4:45 p.m. on I-385 near Harrison Bridge Road, according to Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell with South Carolina Highway Patrol.Details surrounding the crash have not been released. All southbound lanes were blocked for more than two hours, backing up traffic for at least four miles.One lane was opened at about 5:30 p.m., allowing traffic to move — but very slowly. The crash happened just after 4:45 p.m. on I-385 near Harrison Bridge Road, according to Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell with South Carolina Highway Patrol.

All southbound lanes were blocked for more than two hours, backing up traffic for at least four miles.

One lane was opened at about 5:30 p.m., allowing traffic to move — but very slowly.
