Lounching Program Bantuan Tunai se- Indonesia ini dihadiri sejumlah Menteri Kabinet Indonesia Maju dan masyarakat penerima bantuan sosial serta diikuti seluruh gubernur se-Indonesia serta masyarkat penerima manfaat secara virtual.
Ada tiga jenis bantuan sosial yang diluncurkan Pemerintah tahun 2021 ini yaitu, Kartu Sembako/Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT), Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) serta Bantuan Sosial Tunai (BST).
Dalam amanatnya, Presiden Joko Widodo meminta seluruh gubernur dapat betul-betul mengawasi penyaluran nya.
Bantuan Tunai se- Indonesia ini, kata Presiden, diluncurkan pemerintah dalam rangka membantu masyarakat mengatasi pandemi Covid-19.
“Kita harapkan bantuan ini dapat meringankan keluarga – keluarga yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19 dan diharapkan jadi pemicu untuk menggerakkan ekonomi sosial kita,'” kata Presiden Jokowi, saat meluncurkan secara resmi Bantuan Tunai Seluruh Indonesia Tahun 2021.
Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah mengatakan, Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu akan memastikan penyaluran program bantuan ini tepat sasaran.
Kemudian, memastikan ketepatan waktu penyaluran, yang akan disalurkan mulai bulan Januari 2021 ini.
“Memastikan Bantuan Tunai ini sampai ke masyarakat penerima sesuai dengan jumlah yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah,” tutur Gubernur Rohidin, usai mengikuti acara Peluncuran Bantuan Tunai secara virtual, di Gedung Daerah Bengkulu.
Usai bantuan ini, sebut Gubernur yang terpilih kembali memimpin Provinsi Bengkulu ini, Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu juga akan segera meluncurkan Kartu Bengkulu Sejahtera (KBS) bagi masyarakat yang belum mendapatkan bantuan dari pemerintah pusat tersebut.
“Terkait program Kartu Bengkulu Sejahtera, kita akan segera lakukan pendataan, minta informasi kepada para pendamping. masyarakat yang layak mendapatkan bantuan tapi belum mendapatkan bantuan, ini yang akan kita sisir atau yang akan kita tambahkan dalam Kartu Bengkulu Sejahtera,” pungkasnya.
