BENGKULU TENGAH – DPRD Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah melangsungkan rapat paripurna istimewa dalam rangka menyambut hari jadi Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah yang ke-11.
Melalui pantauan sentralnews.com, terlihat seluruh anggota dewan mengenakan baju adat kebanggaan Bumi Rafflesia.
Rapat paripurna tersebut dipimpin langsung Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, Tarmizi, dan didampingi Bupati Bengkulu Tengah Ferry Ramli serta Wabup Septi Feriadi. Selain itu, turut hadir pula Asisten I Provinsi Bengkulu Hamka Sabri.
Ketua DPRD Bengkulu Tengah Tarmizi mengaku keberhasilan yang dirasakan melalui perkembangan kabupaten yang dipimpinnya itu tidak terlepas dari perjuangan Pahlawan yang telah berjuang sebelum ini.
“Kita memiliki tokoh-tokoh pejuang yang mengeluarkan tenaga dan keringat dan mempercayai daerah ini menjadi kabupaten yang sekarang dikenal dengan Kabupaten Benteng,” kata Tarmizi.
Sementara, Bupati Bengkulu Tengah, Ferry Ramli berharap SDM (sumber Daya Manusia) yang ada dapat membantu mengelola tatanan daerah semakin baik dengan pengelolaan uang yang sebenar-benarnya.
“Insyaallah Mudah-mudahan, apabila Hal tersebut dilakukan, ketertinggalan y ang dialami akan segera melakukan teratasi. Bahkan tidak tertutup dari kabupaten kedepan ini yang bisa mengungguli kabupaten yang terdahulunya,” ungkapnya.
Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah yang diwakili Asisten I Setda Provinsi Bengkulu Hamka Sabri dalam kesempatan itu mengatakan Pemprov Bengkulu mendukung sepenuhnya program pembangunan di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah dengan mengalokasi sejumlah dana untuk membiayai pembangunan sarana infrastruktur, peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat maupun pengembangan bidang pertanian dan lain sebagainya.
