BENGKULU- Gubernur berikan santunan kepada 115 orang Anak Panti Asuhan serta meresmikan Masjid At-Thursina yang berlokasi di Jl. Puri Lestari Kel. Kandang Kecamatan. Kampung Melayu. Melayu Bengkulu, Sabtu (19/10).
Gubernur Rohidin berharap peningkatan ilmu agama intens di masjid-masjid, untuk membangun Bengkulu yang Religius. “Ini bagian dari tugas kami untuk melihat langsung masyarakat kami, kegiatan – kegiatan keagamaan tidak hanya di Kota tetapi juga di sembilan Kabupaten/Kota,” jelas Gubernur Rohidin.
Gubernur Rohidin pada kesempatan ini juga memberikan santunan kepada 115 orang Anak Panti Asuhan yang juga turut hadir dalam peresmian masjid ini.
Salah satu penerima santunan, Rahian yang juga seorang Hafiz, mengaku senang bertemu dengan Gubernur Rohidin. “Alhamdulilah senang, ya harapannya kan masjid – masjid banyak juga yang belum dibangun, harapannya bisa diperhatikan pak Gubernur lah,” harap Raihan.
Pada kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh Bupati Bengkulu Utara Mian, Asisten I Setdaprov Bengkulu, Kepala OPD Prov. Bengkulu.
Pengurus Ta’mir Masjid At-Thursina, Sudoto menilai Gubernur Rohidin selain memiliki perhatian kepada pembangunan secara umum, juga memiliki perhatian untuk memakmurkan masjid dan pendidikan beragama.
Ia pun berharapan dengan hadirnya Gubernur Rohidin pada peresmian ini, dapat memberikan semangat kepada seluruh masyarakat Kelurahan Kandang.
“Dengan kehadiran bapak Gubernur dan Bupati disini sudah memberikan semangat kita, mudah – mudahan akan menimbulkan semangat kita untuk membangun ini,” harap Sudoto.ADV (AR01)
