Siapa Yang Tau Jalan Rusak Di Enggano Milik Provinsi

Bengkulu, Sentralnews.com- Sebagai salah satu pulau terluar Indonesia yang terletak di Provinsi Bengkulu, Pulau Enggano merupakan salah satu kawasan yang begitu menjanjikan banyak hal bila dikembangkan dengan baik, tidak banyak yang tau tentang bagaimana persoalan persoalan yang terjadi di pulau ini apabila tidak pernah datang ke situ.

Berada di wilayah pemerintahan Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara jalan penghubung yang banyak rusak baik ringan maupun berat antar desa mulai dari pelabuhan Kahyapu hingga ujung pulau Desa Banjar Sari ternyata tanggung jawab Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu.

“Itu adalah jalan provinsi,” ujar Camat Enggano Marlansius kepada awak media.

Dilansir dari pedomanbengkulu.com Baik persoalan jalan yang berlubang maupun yang lainnya,  Camat Enggano mengatakan, meski telah bertahun-tahun berkuasa, Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah terkesan kurang memperhatikan pulau yang masuk dalam Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara ini.

“Yang kurang di Enggano ini adalah perhatian. Kalau sudah ada perhatian, tentu hidup di sini tidak akan serba kekurangan,” kata Camat Enggano, Marlansius, saat dijumpai jurnalis, belum lama ini.

Apa yang disampaikan Camat Enggano tersebut sangat beralasan. Berpuluh-puluh kilometer jalan penghubung antar desa di pulau dengan luas wilayah mencapai 400,6 km² ini masih dalam keadaan rusak ringan dan rusak berat.

Data terhimpun di pulau tersebut, listrik tak hidup 24 jam dalam sehari. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan bahan bangunan, banyak warga yang harus rela membayar lebih mahal dari harga normal lantaran harus dibawa berjam-jam dengan kapal dari Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu.

Tidak terlalu mudah untuk dapat menemukan bahan bakar minyak di Pulau Enggano. Beberapa komoditas kebutuhan bahan pokok makanan, dijual di atas harga pasar.

Banyak orang tak akan percaya melihat kondisi Pulau Enggano saat ini bila empat tahun lalu mendengar janji politik Ridwan Mukti-Rohidin Mersyah yang ingin menjadikan Bengkulu sebagai poros maritim nasional.

Jumat (9/10/2020) kemarin, Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Sekretaris Badan Nasional Pengelola Perbatasan (BNPP) Suhajar Diantoro menyebutkan Enggano memiliki potensi untuk menjadi Sentra Kelautan dan Perikanan Terpadu (SKPT).

Ia menjelaskan, ke depan semua proses pembangunan infrastruktur di Pulau Enggano harus berbasis perikanan dan pariwisata. Pembangunannya harus dilakukan dengan cara bahu-membahu antara pemerintah kabupaten dan pemerintah provinsi.

Sebagai tambahan informasi, Indonesia memiliki pulau-pulau kecil terluar dengan total jumah 111 pulau. Sebanyak 42 pulau diantaranya berpenduduk, Pulau Enggano adalah salah satunya.

Selain Pulau Enggano, Provinsi Bengkulu juga memiliki Pulau Mega, namun tidak berpenduduk. Namun seperti Pulau Enggano, Pulau Mega dapat dikembangkan untuk kegiatan pariwisata, perikanan dan konservasi serta penelitian, sehingga masih membutuhkan dukungan infrastruktur diantaranya dermaga, air bersih, shelter dan jalan akses.

Ketika dikonfirmasi mengenai semua ini, Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah, belum memberikan respon apapun.
