Bengkulu, Sentralnews.com – Resmi dilantik sebagai Komisaris Independen bank pembangunan daerah Bank Bengkulu,  Irjen Pol (Purn) Supratman berkomitmen meningkatkan peran bank untuk membangun daerah.
“Dalam situasi perekonomian yang saat ini terus berkembang, kami akan mendorong direksi untuk dapat meningkatkan peran Bank Bengkulu dalam menghasilkan laba yang lebih besar lagi dan juga bermanfaat bagi seluruh masyarakat Bengkulu. Karena bank ini merupakan salah satu bagian untuk mendorong perekonomian Bengkuli dan ujungnya bisa mensejahterakan masyarakat,” Pungkas Supratman usai dilantik sebagai Komisaris Independen. , Kamis (18/3/2021) sore.
Sementara itu, Direktur Utama Bank Bengkulu Agusalim mengatakan hadirnya komisaris independen tentu menambah spirit dan  peran pengawasan kelembagaan.
“Dengan pengangkatan ini, pastinya komisaris kami harapkan bisa menjadi pendorong untuk jajaran direksi bekerja lebih baik lagi. Jajaran komisaris adalah perpanjangan tangan pemegang saham untuk bisa memonitor kegiatan di Bank Bengkulu dan bisa dijadikan laporan nantinya,” katanya.
Pelantikan diadakannya setelah adanya rapat umum pemegang saham oleh gubernur dan kepala daerah sebagai pemegang saham serta Direksi bank Bengkulu di mana jabatan komisaris independen tengah kosong saat ini.
