Bengkulu Tengah, Sentralnews.com, – Polres Bengkulu Tengah (Benteng) Polda Bengkulu menangkap dua tersangka berinisial PA (50) dan HE (49) yang diduga melakukan pemerasan terhadap Kades Taba Teret, Sopyan Sori, Selasa (5/1/2021) lalu.
Kapolres Bengkulu Tengah (Benteng), AKBP. Ary Baroto, S.Ik, MH didampingi Kasat Reskrim, Iptu. Iman Falucky, S.Tr, S.Ik mengatakan jika berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, PA yang merupakan warga Rawa Makmur Kota Bengkulu didapati adanya kartu identitas Peradi. Namun pihaknya masih akan melakukan pengecekan terhadap kebenaran kartu tersebut. Kemudian HE merupakan warga Desa Pasar Pedati Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa didapati kartu identitas wartawan salah satu media online. Keduanya telah ditetapkan tersangka untuk kemudian menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
‘’Ada kartu Peradi, tapi kita ingin pastikan dulu apakah asli atau palsu,’’ ujar Ary saat konferensi pers di Mapolres Bengkulu Tengah, Rabu (13/1/2021).
Ary menjelaskan kembali, kronologis kejadian berawal dari kedua tersangka mendatangi korban dengan dugaan melakukan pengancaman akan melaporkan perihal pembangunan fisik Jalan Usaha Tani (JUT) jenis lapisan penetrasi tahun 2018 yang bersumber dari Dana Desa (DD) ke Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Benteng. Jika tak ingin dilaporkan, maka kedua tersangka meminta uang senilai Rp 25 juta. Lantaran tak memiliki uang, korban hanya mampu memberikan uang senilai Rp 10 juta. Dimana uang senilai Rp 5 juta diberikan kepada kedua tersangka di kantor desa.
Setelah keluar dari kantor desa, polisi langsung melakukan penangkapan terhadap keduanya dan membawa ke Mapolsek Taba Penanjung lalu diserahkan ke Mapolres Benteng. Adapun pasal yang disangkakan yakni pasal 368 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 9 tahun penjara.
‘’Barang bukti kita amankan uang senilai Rp 5 juta. Ancaman terhadap perbuatan tersebut maksimal 9 tahun penjara,’’ ucap Ary menutup konferensi pers.
Secara terpisah kepada media PA salah satu tersangka, mengakui jika dirinya merupakan seorang pengacara dengan dibuktikan adanya kartu keanggotaan Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (Peradi). Sekaligus membantah jika telah melakukan pemerasan terhadap korban. Adapun kedatangannya bersama HE lantaran hanya ingin menawarkan iklan di media online serta menawarkan jasa perlindungan hukum.
‘’Kami tidak ada inisiatif untuk melakukan pemerasan. Kita datang ke kantor desa dengan cara baik-baik. Kami hanya menawarkan iklan dan jasa kalau kades nanti terlibat masalah, kita siap untuk membantu,’’ ujar PA saat diwawancara media selesai konferensi pers di Mapolres Bengkulu Tengah.
