Bengkulu, Sentralnews.com- Menekan dan memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19 di tengah masyarakat, Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah terus mengimbau kepada masyarakat mematuhi protokol kesehatan.
“Covid-19 ini bukan untuk kita takuti tapi untuk kita hati-hati dan terus menjaga kesehatan,” ungkap Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah saat kunjungan kerjanya di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong dalam agenda Sosialisasi Kegiatan Penguatan Upaya Kesehatan Berbasis Masyarakat (UKBM) Dalam Pelaksanaan Protokol Covid-19 di Desa Kesambe Lama Kecamatan Curup Timur, Sabtu (06/09).
Selain sosialisasi penguatan UKBM, dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Rohidin juga menyerahkan bantuan perlengkapan Aman Covid-19 dan peralatan olahraga kepada Karang Taruna setempat.
“Dengan penyerahan alat olahraga dengan karang taruna tujuannya tidak lain untuk menghidupkan kembali semangat berolahraga. Selain itu juga peran aktif karang taruna jelas sangat dibutuhkan dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah,” terang Gubernur Bengkulu ke-10 ini.
Anggota DPR RI M Soleh mengatakan, kunjungan kerja Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah turun langsung mensosialisasikan upaya memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19 patut diberikan apresiasi.
Menurutnya lagi, dengan gencar melakukan sosialisasi penguatan UKBM Aman Covid-19 Masyarakat Produktif ini, dipastikan ekonomi Bengkulu akan cepat kembali menggeliat.
“Ini menjadi penyemangat bagi masyarakat untuk bangkit ditengah Pandemi Covid-19. Seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah, yakinlah bahwa pemerintah hadir ditengah masyarakat bersama menguatkan perekonomian dan memutus mata rantai penyebaran Covid-19,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Sosialisasi Kegiatan Penguatan UKBM Dalam Pelaksanaan Protokol Covid-19 juga dilaksanakan di Desa Suka Datang Kecamatan Curup Utara, di Desa Kampung Melayu dan Kampung Sajad Kecamatan Bermani Ulu.
Selanjutnya di Desa Air Pikat Kecamatan Bermani Ulu, sekaligus penyerahan bantuan perlengkapan Aman Covid-19 dan peralatan olahraga kepada Karang Taruna setempat.
