Bengkulu, sentralnews.com- Seorang Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) di PLTU Teluk Sepang terduga (suspect) virus corona masih menjalani perawatan di ruang isolasi RSUD dr M Yunus. Ia dirawat sejak Rabu sore (12/2).
Dokter Spesialis THT yang menangani Mr. W, dr. Apif Rahman menyebutkan bahwa keadaan pasien sudah mulai membaik. Suhu tubuh yang semula mencapai 38 derajat celcius menjadi 36 derajat celcius. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan sementara, Mr. W belum ada tanda-tanda mengalami infeksi saluran pernafasan bawah.
“Kendati demikian, pasien tetap dilakukan observasi terlebih dahulu sampai dari hasil pemeriksaan lanjutan dipastikan apakah negatif atau mengarah ke suspect,” kata dr. Apif saat konferensi pers di RSUD dr. M Yunus, Kamis (13/2).
Mr W diketahui baru saja pulang dari negara asalnya China untuk merayakan Imlek. Ia berangkat dari Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport dan kemudian transit. Pada saat di Bandara Soetta (Soekarno-Hatta) Mr. W tidak terdeteksi thermal scanner sehinngga bisa melanjutkan perjalanan ke Provinsi Bengkulu.
Sementara itu, Wakil Direktur Umum dan Pelayanan RSUD dr. M Yunus Bengkulu, Ismir Fahri menjelaskan, Mr. W sudah berada di Bengkulu sejak tanggal 26 Januari lalu. Mr. W sebelumnya sudah diisolasi selama 14 hari dan tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda suspect corona. Namun, saat hari ke 16 Mr. W ingin masuk kerja, tanda suspect corona muncul.
“Hingga saat ini pasien masih tahap observasi. Untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terjangkit virus corona masih memerlukan tahapan. Apapun itu dia memeriksakan dirinya dan secara sadar kita menerapkan SOP-nya terkait wabah corona sebagai bentuk kewaspadaan,” pungkas Ismir. (Lcy)
