Kalimantan Utara, sentralnews.com – Pengelolaan keuangan daerah mesti memenuhi prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan keuangan yang baik. Karena itu perlu diselenggarakan secara profesional dan terbuka.
Hal ini disampaikan Wakil Gubernur (Wagub) Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) Dr Yansen TP MSi saat membuka Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah di Ruang Serbaguna Gedung Gabungan Dinas Pemprov Kaltara, Kamis (25/3/2021).
Acara sosialisasi tersebut dapat terlaksana setelah Gubernur Kaltara Drs H Zainal Arifin Paliwang, SH, M.Hum membuat Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan Universitas Patria Artha Makasar beberapa waktu lalu.
“Pengelolaan keuangan daerah yang baik harus menganut prinsip akuntabilitas yang berorientasi pada hasil, profesionalitas, proporsionalitas, dan keterbukaan dalam keuangan daerah,” ucap Wagub.
Disebutkannya, mengelola keuangan daerah dengan baik dapat mewujudkan beberapa hal. Seperti meningkatkan fungsi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dalam mengelola keuangan daerah, mewujudkan pemerintahan daerah yang bersih, dan dapat memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat yang semakin kritis terhadap transparansi.
“Sesungguhnya tujuan dari pengelolaan keuangan daerah yang baik adalah untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan inilah sebenarnya yang paling dasar. Oleh sebab itu apa yang diharapkan oleh pak gubernur, pengelolaan keuangan Pemprov Kaltara harus berjalan dengan baik, rapi, dinamis, dan produktif,” tuntasnya.
Sosiliasi diikui oleh seluruh perwakilan Organisasi Pemerintah Daerah (OPD) di lingkup Pemprov Kaltara. (as)
