Bengkulu Selatan, Sentralnews.com- Warga Desa Kayu Ajaran Kecamatan Ulu Manna menemukan 9 Bunga Rafflesia arnoldii di dekat area persawahan Pulau Lebar Desa Kayu Ajaran Kecamatan Ulu Manna Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan,sabtu(25/1/2020).
Bunga yang memiliki nama latin Amorphopallus titanum ditemukan warga dalam semak semak sekitar 100 meter dari jalan raya. Setelah menemukan bunga Rafflesia itu, warga langsung memberitahu Aparat Desa Kayu Ajaran.
Sekretaris Desa Kayu Ajaran Bambang Mardianto ketika di konfirmasi melalui telfon seluler membenarkan bahwah memang ada warganya menemukan bunga Rafflesia.
“Bunga Raflesia tumbuh sebanyak 9 bunga,Diantara ke 9 bunga tersebut 2 diantaranya sudah membusuk, 1 masih mekar dan 6 lainnya masih dalam pertumbuhan,” tutur Sekdes saat diwawancarai melalui telfon selulernya.
Selain itu, atas nama Pemerintah Desa Kayu Ajaran bambang berharap kepada Pemerintah daerah Kab Bengkulu Selatan atau Dinas terkait agar dapat memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat kiranya dapat mengerti dan mencintai alam tutup sekdes.(TH)
