Bengkulu, sentralnews.com- Dua bulan menjelang ramadan, harga kebutuhan pokok, seperti telur masih berada di kisaran harga yang tinggi. Meskipun demikian, hasil pantauan sentralnews.com, Jum’at (21/2) di Pasar Tradisional Modern (PTM) Kota Bengkulu minat beli masyarakat tak surut.
Pembeli telur di PTM, Darsi (49) mengaku bahwa dirinya tak bisa mengelak karena telur merupakan kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari sehingga ia memaklumi kenaikan harga telur yang terjadi saat ini.
“Kaget ya, kok naik tiba-tiba, tapi ya mau gimana lagi namanya juga kebutuhan, paling disiasati dengan pengurangan pembelian, kita maklum saja,” kata Darsi.
Saat ini harga telur ayam berkisar di angka Rp 40 ribu sampai Rp 45 ribu per karpet, dimana sebelumnya harganya hanya berkisar di angka Rp 37 ribu sampai Rp 43 ribu per karpet.
Penjual telur di PTM, Agus (46) menyebutkan saat ini kenaikan harga telur sedang berada dipuncaknya. Ia menduga kenaikan harga telur didukung dengan kenaikan biaya transportasi atau biaya tambahan dalam hal distribusi telur ke pasar. Faktor lainnya karena biaya pakan ternak.
“Ini puncak kenaikan telur. Ini banyak faktor kenaikannya, mulai dari transportasi, makanan, apalagi kita di Sumatera ini mengikuti permintaan di Jawa, jadi ketika pengiriman telur dari Sumatera ke Jawa sudah naik, maka harga ke pasar-pasar di Sumatera khususnya di Bengkulu ikut naik juga,” jelas Agus.
Sementara itu, penjual telur lainnya, Tari (25) kenaikan harga telur dipastikan seiring menjelang bulan puasa dan lebaran pada April dan Mei 2020 mendatang.
“Sepertinya karena sebentar lagi menjelang puasa,” singkat Tari. (Lcy)
