Seluma, Sentralnews.com- Penggagas Badan Usaha Milik Petani (BUMP) di Kabupaten Seluma Benny Suharto sudah menyiapkan enam mesin penggiling getah karet untuk dioperasikan di enam titik lainnya. Sebelumnya, Benny memang menargetkan pabrik mini penggilingan getah karet ini beroperasi di tujuh lokasi. Satu yang sudah beroperasi adalah di Desa Napal Jungur Kecamatan Lubuk Sandi. Tak hanya itu, Benny juga sudah menggandeng investor asal India untuk menampung hasil produksi para petani lewat pabrik tersebut.
“Untuk titik lokasi pendiriannya semua telah kita dapatkan, gapoktannya pun telah siap, jadi dalam waktu dekat ini akan segera kita bentuk dan dirikan,” kata Benny.
Pabrik mini tersebut sepenuhnya dikelola oleh petani yang tergabung dalam gapoktan. Dan berkaca dengan kejadian yang menimpa Gapoktan Neo Makmur di Napal Jungur, Benny meminta gapoktan di enam titik lainnya terlebih dahulu mengurus dan melengkapi perizinan.
“Kita berkaca pada Gapoktan Geo Makmur di Desa Napal Jungur. Jadi saat ini enam Gapoktan yang akan mengelola usaha penggilingan karet ini, saya minta untuk mengurus semua perizinan dulu. Jika semua telah siap, mesin akan kita serahkan,” ujar Benny.
Untuk itu ia berharap DLH dan DPMPPTSP Seluma dan Provinsi Bengkulu ataupun instansi terkait lainnya untuk dapat membantu pengurusan perizinan gapoktan yang akan mengelola usaha penggilingan getah karet tersebut.
“Jadi mohon kerja sama dan dukungannya, kita wujudkan pendirian tujuh usaha penggilingan karet ini. Karena jika tujuh titik usaha penggilingan karet ini beroperasi, semua hasil kebun petani karet Seluma dapat ditampung, yang tentunya dengan harga yang jauh lebih tinggi dari saat ini,” imbuh Benny.
