Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Cocoa restaurants plan early hours for Artemis I launch

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Several restaurants along the Space Coast are planning to open early Monday morning ahead of the planned Artemis I launch, hoping to capitalize on the crowds expected to watch the historic lift-off.

Coconuts on the Beach, 2 Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach. Coconuts will open at 8 a.m., with breakfast burritos, bloody Marys and mimosas. Beachside service is available. facebook.com/coconuts.onthebeach

Dogs R Us, 4200 S. Washington Ave., Titusville. Dogs R Us will open its parking lot at 2 a.m. Monday for an Artemis Launch Party. Parking will be $20, no re-entry. Doors open for breakfast at 7 a.m., with a choice biscuit and gravy or pancakes with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and a hash brown patty. Cost for breakfast is $12 for adults, $6 for children. Hoffman’s Table, 311 S Washington Ave, Titusville. The downtown restaurant will open for breakfast at 6 a.m., serving biscuits and gravy, ham and cheese stratta, cinnamon rolls and fruit cups. Hoffman’s will switch to its regular lunch menu at 11 a.m., and will close for the day at 4 p.m. Coming into town Sunday? Hoffman’s Table, which usually closes at 7 p.m. on Sundays, will remain serve dinner until 9 p.m. to accommodate pre-launch guests. hoffmanstable.com
