BENGKULU – Masyarakat sadar wisata merupakan hal yang sangat penting didalam mewujudkan Visit Wonderful Bengkulu 2020 dan promosi strategis destinasi wisata Bumi Rafflesia Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu Gelar Workshop Sadar Wisata Bertempat di Nala Hotel Sea Side.17/06/2019
menurut Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah Masyarakat sadar wisata menjadi faktor utama dalam mendukung Wonderful 2020 Untuk itu mewujudkan dan membentuk kelompok sadar wisata jelas harus dibekali wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang pada akhirnya membentuk sikap dan perilaku masyarakat sadar wisata.
“Menyangkut bagaimana kita bersikap, berprilaku sebagai tuan rumah yang baik, yang betul-betul ramah dan menciptakan kondisi Bengkulu ini aman dan nyaman bagi pengunjung wisatawan,” jelas Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah usai membuka resmi Workshop Sadar Wisata, di ruang pertemuan salah satu Hotel kawasan Pantai Panjang Kota Bengkulu, Senin (17/06).
Sehingga rasa nyaman dan aman saat berwisata jelas Gubernur Rohidin Mersyah, bisa dirasakan wisatawan selain kesan baik dan ingin kembali berkunjung ke Bengkulu. Selain itu para pelaku pariwisata seperti di sektor perhotelan, kuliner dan pengrajin cinderamata dan lainnya serta aparat penegak hukum, juga harus berperan aktif.
“Nah ini yang harus kita latih. Tidak hanya masyarakat umum tapi juga para pelaku pariwisata lainnya. Maka ini kunci, walaupun nampaknya sederhana, menciptakan masyarakat sadar wisata menjadi hal yang paling pokok,” pungkasnya.
Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Bengkulu Irsan Setiawan menyatakan kegiatan ini bertujuan memaksimalkan promosi potensi wisata Bengkulu, selain memberikan bekal bagi peserta sadar wisata.
“Workshop ini kita laksanakan supaya peserta nanti menjadi pioneer kedepan supaya mereka bisa mengajak masyarakat sekitar objek wiisata, karena masyarakat tidak sadar wisata maka hal ini akan menjadi salah satu penghambat nantinya,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu menurut Irsan Setiawan terdapat 5 kunci supaya pariwisata di Bengkulu ini bisa sukses, yaitu sinerginya antara pemerintah, masyarakat, akademisi, pelaku usaha dan media massa.
